Inquiry of a Lost SoulWill I never find one day of peace here?       
Am I forced to live this lie forever?    
A life lived without solace, beauty or cheer?  
Tranquility is my sole endeavor.      Continue to bleed and die in my hands,    Feeling my life slipping slowly away,

ForgottenPart One:  
 
The pale sun casts long shadows over the soft earth,  
a breath of wind streams through every blade,  
a silent prayer- a new birth,  
the light in her heart shall never fade.  
Joy of a child, held forever close,  
her eyes forever singing,  
prey to the darkness of her host,  
the hope I should be bringing....  
Lost among all the pain,  
I must give in at last,  
confidence that I feign,  
running from my past.  
Happy dagger, hear my plea,  
save the child, and save me.  
 
Part Two:  
 
Chains that rattle,  
bonds that shake, Forgotten

Is hard to do,  
Stealing affections,  
Staying out late,  
Is this all I have have to look forward to?  
Naughty rondezvous,  Gratification is optimum,  
Is this all that is between us?

Heading for the place we'll meet,  
Eagerly I look for you,  
Darkness envelops us,
